Local Authorities (Alcohol Consumption in Designated Public Places) Regulations 2001

The effect of this order is that, in the following designated areas in Yateley, it is an arrestable offence if a person continues drinking in an area that has been designated, once asked by a police officer not to do so under Section 12 of the above Act. Any person who fails without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirement imposed on him under subsection (2) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £500.
