Local History Research

Finding out which Developer built a particular estate and when it was built will reveal much about the estates character. Building design and eatate layout changed considerably over quite short periods. Some Developers adopted standard designs for houses, and gave names to those designs.

Documents relating to the date of construction of Yateley's estates can be found in the Hampshire Record Office.
