The Contents Page will eventually be generated from this page and the SideBar of this website.

This website is easy to understand. It is the draft Parish Plan - as it's being written. The section headings on the SideBar (eg COMMUNITY PRIORITIES) are the major Section Headings of the Draft Plan. The active links listed below each Section Heading are the Chapter Headings of the Plan.

The Chapter Headings listed under COMMUNITY PRIORITIES are the Topics which the Steering Group thinks Yateley people will be concerned about. Subgroup Chairman and a committee are being appointed for each of these Topics. The Topic Subgroup will be responsible for writing their chapter. As they progress you will be able to read the text.

If you click into a page in one of the chapter headings (ie the Topics) you will find a series of links to other pages. These will be the subheadings in each chapter for each topic. For most topics the subheadings will be the same - to demonstrate that the plan process has be followed. Look at Amenities & Facilities page, which so far has little explanatory test. If these subheading links are still red then it means the page has not yet been started. The topic subheadings will be called, sequentially: Situation Report, Constraints, Issues, Options, and the final one will be named something like Recommendations, Preferred Option or Objectives. But that's after you have had your say.

Any active links you find in a topic subheading page is effectively a Reference in the Draft Plan. It will explain why we came to this conclusion, or might link the the full text of a document listed in the Appendices. Eventually you will be able to go directly to these references is the Appendices & Lists section at the bottom of the SideBar.

The Chapter Headings listed under SPATIAL PLANNING are currently mainly concerned with the Character Assessment Project being undertaken by the Yateley Society. At present the text is mainly administrative for the assessment teams. As the assessments come in from the teams you will be able to read them. Keep coming back to see what's happening. This website changes daily. Click on the Recent Changes box.

The Yateley Village Design Framework is a very important part of the overall Plan since it is finding solutions for the the Town Centre. We expect the YVDF to have its own section in the final Plan. You can read what the Town Centre Management Team has already achieved. The next phase is the commercial area.

Please remember that this website is continuously changing - it's work-in-progress. It is like your being able to look down on our desks to see what papers we are working on. The whole process must be transparent to you, and you can butt in at any time to give us your views by sending us an email via the email link on the SideBar.
