It will be very instructive to compare the aspirations of the present population with the those in the Review of the Yateley Town Map in 1981 - the year in which The Yateley Society was founded. Planning history is confusing to the general public since, although there have been Town Plans and Town Centre Plan specific to Yateley, most statutory plans relating to Yateley are incorporated in Hart District Local Plans.
